The importance of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) trends manifested decades ago due to global warming, a decrease of natural resources, an increase in poverty, and the never-ending corporate scandals, just to name a few. Investors and corporations have seen increased regulations, demands for transparency, valuation, and assessment in recent years. They recognize that ESG Ratings are an important tool that will provide valuable investment information and create a positive social impact on the community. Universities could also play a vital role in creating ESG awareness and enhancing the experience of staff and students in the aspect of sustainability and social responsibility.

This Programme is mainly focused on the understanding the fundamental, significance and practices of the Environment, Social and Governance (ESG).

At the end of the programme, the participants will be able to:

• Understand the fundamental of ESG.
• The significance of ESG in a Business Entity/organization.
• The difference between SDGs and ESG.
• The sustainable practice and its application.
