2. Afternoon Visit Location: Taiwan Literature Museum
The National Museum of Taiwanese Literature is a century-old national historic site, formerly the Tainan Prefectural Office during the Japanese colonial period, completed in 1916. After the war, it served as the Air Force Supply Command and the Tainan City Government. Due to its different uses by various units and periods, many structures of this building have been damaged due to war or long-term disrepair. Restoration and reconstruction work began in 1997, making it the first national-level literary museum in our country.
