| Project Highlights | 1. Cooperation fields: There is no limit on the cooperation fields, but this call for submissions encourages the fields of "biomedicine" and "laser". 2. A research group must be formed with one leader from each of Taiwan, Latvia, and Lithuania to jointly complete and submit a cooperation plan in English, which must be submitted to the relevant competent authorities for review. If either party does not receive the application, the cooperation case cannot be established. |

| Eligibility | (1) The Taiwan project leader is limited to the leader of the special research project currently being implemented by the Association (hereinafter referred to as the "original project"). (Excluding planning promotion projects, bilateral agreements, international cooperation projects and industry-university cooperation projects.) (2) The host of the bilateral project in Latvia and Lithuania shall handle it in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Science of their respective countries. (Latin America and Cube have no provisions for expansion and value-added.) (3) Project leaders who are currently implementing the subsidies for this international cooperation project may not submit project applications. |

1. This call for submissions is conducted in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Council’s “Operational Guidelines for Subsidizing Bilateral (Multilateral) Agreements to Expand International Cooperation and Add-on Programs”. The website address of the operation guidelines is as follows.

2. If there are force majeure factors, delays in the review time of the agreement institutions or the bilateral annual meeting schedule, the Commission may adjust the time for publishing the review results depending on the circumstances.
