for Overseas Chinese Students from Northern Thailand and Myanmar
Dear Overseas Chinese students from Northern Thailand and Myanmar,
Chinese Association For Relief And Ensuing Services (CARES) has established this dedicated scholarship to support and encourage students from these regions who are facing financial hardship to focus on their studies in Taiwan. If you meet the following eligibility criteria for the "Northern Thailand" or "Myanmar" categories, please submit your application within the deadline.
📌 Eligibility Criteria
• Target Group: Current overseas Chinese students from Northern Thailand or Myanmar enrolled in universities or colleges in Taiwan (including 4th and 5th-year students of 5-year junior colleges).
• Exclusions: Government-sponsored students, graduate students, and students extending their period of study (delayed graduation) are not eligible.
• Academic Requirements: A minimum average grade of 70 for the first semester of the 2025 academic year, OR a class rank within the top 50%.
• Conduct & Credits: A conduct (behavioral) score of 80 or above is required, and there must be no failing grades in any subject.
• Financial Status: Must demonstrate financial hardship.

• Quota: 25 recipients each for Northern Thailand and Myanmar (Total of 50 recipients annually).
• Amount: NT$10,000 per recipient.

Application Form: Must be fully completed and include a signed personal data consent form.

Proof of Enrollment: A photocopy of your Student ID or a Certificate of Enrollment.

Transcript: An official transcript for the 1st semester of the 2025 academic year (must include academic grades, conduct score, and class ranking) with an official school stamp.

Diploma: A photocopy of your graduation certificate from a Chinese school located in Northern Thailand or Myanmar.

Proof of Financial Hardship: Issued by the Chinese school you graduated from before coming to Taiwan or a local community association in your place of residence.

Autobiography: Including a self-introduction, family background, educational history, and future academic/career plans.

Bank Passbook Photocopy: A photocopy of the applicant's personal bank account (Post Office accounts preferred).

民國115年在臺泰北及緬甸僑生獎助學金 申請開始！
各位泰北及緬甸地區的僑生同學好：
中華救助總會為鼓勵泰緬清寒僑生安心向學，特別設置專屬獎助學金。若您符合以下「泰北」或「緬甸」地區之申請資格，請於期限內踴躍提出申請。
📌 申請資格

對象：限泰北及緬甸地區來臺就讀大專院校（含五專四、五年級）之在學僑生。
（不含公費生、研究生及延長修業之學生） -
成績標準：114學年度上學期學業平均成績達70分以上，或班排名達前50%。

操行與學分：操行成績需達80分以上，且無不及格科目。

經濟狀況：需具備清寒證明。
💰 獎勵名額與金額
• 名額：泰北及緬甸僑生各25名（共50名）。
• 金額：每名新臺幣10,000元。
