I. Units applying for subsidies that meet the regulation should first apply to the Ministry of Education,
the Ministry of Science and Technology or other off-campus agencies for funding subsidies;
The funding from YunTech is based on the principle of subsidizing part of the funds.
If the applying unit is fully subsidized by other agencies, YunTech will not provide subsidies.
II. Apply Deadline:
Applicants should send the application form together with the proposal to the OIA and the Chief Accounting Office
for approval at least 15 days before the date of the academic conferences, and then submit it to the principal for approval.
III. About the Proposal:
It should include the purpose of the conference, agenda, topic outline, budget, the academic experience of the invited
lecturer and the publication of the latest five years, the number of scheduled participants, work organization and task division,
and expected results.
IV. About the Grant:
This fund can be used for lecture fees, printing fees, transportation expenses, board and lodging expenses,
and others (for example: stationery, post and telecommunications, venue layout, related consumables, etc.).
--The transportation subsidy is limited to serving as a lecturer, introduction, host, and commentator.
Notice! This fund cannot be used as work-study funds. Personnel in YunTech are not allowed to receive examination fees,
attendance fees, hosting fees, and introduction fees.
V. About Reimbursement:
1. No higher than the approved amount of subsidy, grantees have to prepare related receipts in order, and handle the
reimbursement application in accordance with YunTech's funding verification regulations.
Notice! The reimbursement must be accomplished before the accounting closing date in December.
2. Within 1 month after holding the academic conference, the grantee has to submit documents to YunTech OIA,
including a report on the academic conference, a list of attendees (with units and title),
and proceedings (written or electronic files in Chinese and English).
