1. Required Documents:

1. Original ARC (Alien Resident Certificate)

2. Photocopy of passport

3. One recent passport-size photo (white background, no hat)

4. Certificate of enrollment

5. Proof of dormitory payment (if staying on campus) or rental agreement (if living off campus)

6. Hong Kong/Macau Identity Card (for students from Hong Kong and Macau)

7. Mainland Travel Permit (Home Return Permit) (for students from Hong Kong and Macau)

8. Fee:

   • NTD 300 (Hong Kong/Macau students)

   • NTD 500 (Overseas Chinese students)

   • NTD 1,000 (Other international students)
     
     

2. Application Period:

• You may apply up to 3 months before your ARC expiration date.
  

• Please keep track of your ARC validity. Do not let it expire!
  

• Penalties for expired ARC (as per Article 85 of the Immigration Act):

  A fine of NTD 2,000 to 50,000 may be imposed for overstaying.
