The diversity in Indonesia is undoubtedly a double-edged sword, presenting both challenges and blessings. The key lies in fostering understanding, respect, and collaboration among the diverse communities to transform into a collective strength that propels the nation forward. Ultimately, the journey toward a harmonious and inclusive Indonesia requires recognizing and celebrating the richness that diversity brings.
Indonesia's cultural landscape is greatly shaped with Islam playing a predominant role, encompassing a majority of its population. The coexistence of various ethnicities and cultures under the embracing umbrella of Islam reflects the nation's ability to celebrate differences while fostering unity. Islamic principles of tolerance and communal harmony have historically guided interactions among different religious and cultural groups, contributing significantly to Indonesia's social fabric.
The practice of Islam in Indonesia is characterized by a unique blend of local traditions, reflecting the country's diversity. Despite being a majority, Muslims in Indonesia exemplify a spirit of inclusivity and tolerance, respecting the beliefs and practices of other religions and ethnicities.

Harmonious Islam in Indonesia (HARMONII) is an Online Short Program conducted by the Faculty of Islamic Studies at Sultan Agung Islamic University (UNISSULA) Indonesia. This program aims to give a knowledge, insight, and hands-on discussion on how Islam is practiced harmoniously in Indonesia.
