To promote international academic exchange and collaboration, a delegation from multiple Indonesian universities visited National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (YUNTECH) on May 13, 2025. The visit aimed to foster goodwill and facilitate academic discussions between institutions.

The YUNTECH delegation was led by President Prof. Chuan-Yu Chang, Vice President and Dean of the Office of International Affairs Prof. Shyh-Huei Hwang, Vice President Prof. Ming-Chang Wu, Chair of the Department of Applied Foreign Languages Prof. Hsiao-Tzu Yang, Section Chief of International Exchange and Collaboration, OIA, Assistant Professor Fang-Ju Chen, Associate Professor Wei-Hwa Pan of the Department of Business Administration, and Associate Professor Shew-Huei Kuo of the Department of Finance.

The visiting delegation included prominent academic leaders and scholars from several higher education institutions in Central and East Java, Indonesia. Their primary goals were to explore potential collaborations in student exchanges, faculty mobility, and joint research.

The delegation was led by Dr. Dra. Lusia Maryani Silitonga, M.Pd., Ph.D., an alumna of YUNTECH and currently an associate professor at the University of PGRI Semarang. The visiting members included:

During their visit, the delegation toured YUNTECH's campus facilities and held discussion sessions with the Departments of Business Administration, Finance, and Applied Foreign Languages, in addition to meetings with the Office of International Affairs. These interactions allowed both parties to delve into prospective collaboration models, including student and faculty exchanges and joint academic research.

YUNTECH places high value on its long-standing partnerships with Indonesian academic institutions and remains committed to deepening bilateral education and cultural exchanges to further its international development goals.
